The internationally recognised qualification that allows you to certify aircraft as airworthy in Europe and many other regions. It combines classroom instruction, workshop practice, on-the-job training (OJT), and module examinations that follow European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulations. You will gain the skills and certification pathway to work as licensed aircraft technicians or engineers for airlines, maintenance, repair organisations (MROs), and aviation companies worldwide.
Many Students Choose This Program Because:
- Global recognition: the EASA Part-66 licence is accepted in many countries, opening doors for international careers.
- Clear progression route: structured categories (A, B1, B2) let you specialise in mechanical, avionics, or line maintenance.
- Practical career: hands-on skills with high industry demand across airlines and MROs.
Some Students Do Not Choose This Program Because:
- Challenging exams and OJT—requires passing multiple EASA modules and logging thousands of hours of practical training.
Lifestyle During Study:
- Structured training in approved EASA Part-147 organisations.
- A combination of theory, lab workshops, and live aircraft training.
- Long study hours to prepare for module exams.
- OJT with airlines or certified MROs is mandatory before licensing.
After Graduation:
- Eligible to apply for the EASA Part-66 licence once training and OJT requirements are complete.
- Career options in airlines, MROs, and general aviation companies in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and beyond.
- Opportunities to upgrade licence categories or obtain specific aircraft type ratings.
What is Hard:
- Passing multiple module exams (Mathematics, Physics, Aviation Legislation, Human Factors, Systems, etc.).
- Meeting strict EASA logbook and OJT requirements.
What is Easy:
- Clear, standardised training pathway defined by EASA.
- Strong job demand ensures employability once licensed.
